Lesbians, Oscars & Razzies- Oh my!

Last night I went to my first drag show. It was pretty awesome! Nicole Paige Brooks from RuPaul's Drag Race was the headliner. She was great and damn, just look at that body...
Here are a few of the other performers...

It was such a fun night! Very rarely do I go out and just let my hair down and have a great time. This was sooo much fun! I had never been to a drag show so I really didn't know how they worked. Basically, it's just the performers on stage lip-synching to songs and people walk up(like at a strip bar) and tip them. So there I am enjoying my drag show with eight friends when all of a sudden this big butch lesbian comes up and starts giving me a lap dance and putting money in my shirt.  She then kisses me and tells me I am so cute. Then here comes another and another and before you know it I feel like I'm one of the performers. One even tells me her girlfriend thinks I am so cute. Nice, right?  Yea, but why do I attract lesbians and not men? I am what the hell am I gonna do with a lesbian? Wait, I got a little throw up in my throat over that one. I mean I love lesbians. They are great but why am I attracting them? Why can't I attract a man, damn it! Have I gone so far gay that I've actually turned into a woman and that's why the lesbians are after me? LOL
It was fun though. If you are in Atlanta you should go see this show!

Tonight is the Oscars and I am sooo excited. There are only a few categories that I actually want to see who wins but I will sit through it all because it's the Oscars. GO SANDRA! I just love her! Meryl was wonderful and so were the other nominees but Sandra probably won't be here again anytime too soon and we all know Meryl will be nominated again next year.

Sandra was also nominated for a Razzie this year. The Razzie's are given for the worst in filmmaking. Most nominees don't show up but not Sandra. She was nominated as Worst Actress for her performance in "All About Steve" and she won. She also showed up to accept her award.

She showed up to defend the film, Telling the audience that it actually made a profit and saying she didn't think they had even seen the film so she brought everyone there a DVD of the movie. She also had a copy of the movie script on hand, and joked that she would stay there all night going line-by-line with the audience to see if she could have delivered it better than she did on film. FUNNY!

Hope you all are having a great weekend,
Bob Out

While I am in awe of all things Meryl, I'd love to see Sandra Bullock win tonight.
Love her attitude, especially at the Razzies.

The only nominated films I saw were Julie and Julie and The Blind Side. They may surprise us and give the Best Actress to Gabby Sidebe.

Maybe it was just Bob Appreciation Night at the drag show. You do have a cute smile!

That Nicole has legs up to THERE!!

That looks like fun times. I was 13 when I my mother took me to my first drag show. It was fabulous. Living in a small town, means no drag shows ):
