Farrah Fawcett left out of Oscar's tribute

The Oscar's left out Farrah Fawcett from their "In Memoriam" tribute last night. They brought out James Taylor to sing "In My Life"as the pictures rolled. They showed Patrick Swayze first and I noticed Brittany Murphy along with less familiar names. I kept waiting for Farrah, hoping when her picture came up that she would get a large round of applause but it never happened. Then I thought, well maybe I missed it because when the pics first came up the camera was more on James Taylor before they panned in on the pics.

Today I found out that I did not miss it. She was left out. WTH? REALLY?
Poor Farrah! Her death seemed so overshadowed by Michael Jackson's death and now the Oscar's leaves her out of the "In Memoriam" tribute?!?!?! Everyone knows her name and she appeard in a lot of movies. There were names of producers and directors I have never heard of it but they leave Farrah out? I also discovered that Bea Arthur, Ricardo Montalban & Ed McMahon were left out also. Is it because these stars were predominately television actors? Even so, I think it's wrong! Especially Farrah! She was in a lot of movies even though she was mostly known for "Charlies Angels".
Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I wonder why they were left out.

I was really surprised at this too. How could they forget her? Unless there is something we don't know. Does the family have to give permission? I doubt it. And I'm sure they would.
