And the Grammy goes to...

Did you watch the Grammy Awards last night? I thought overall it was kind of lackluster. Taylor Swift performed with Stevie Nicks but it wasn't a great performance. Taylor won Album of the Year becoming the youngest person to ever take home that award. The previous record holder was Alanis Morrisette who was 21 when she won for "Jagged Little Pill".

Beyonce came out like she was gonna kick ass and take names but ended up singing "If I were boy". Why did she need those soldier/cop looking guys with her just to sing a ballad?!?!? Beyonce also set a record last night. She became the first woman to take home six Grammys in one night. The previous record was five and it was held by several ladies including Beyonce.

Check out the outfit Gaga arrived in...

Fantastic!

Gaga was the first performer of the night. I thought she did a great job. Check it out...
However, P!nk stole the damn show. SHE WAS FRICKIN' FANTASTIC! Check out my other post dedicated to her performance

I caught the last half of the show. I'm surprised Swift won. She's getting so much attention. It's bordering on undeserved.

I loved GaGa's costumes and performance! They really made it worth my time to watch the Grammys. Taylor Swift's live duet with Stevie Nicks was terrible. Taylor was flat a lot of the time and is boring to watch. I really don't like her at all. Like you, I did not understand the connection between the solders and Beyonce's ballad. For me, the only reason to watch was GaGa's costumes and performance.
