Tim Bennett, the President of Harpo, accounced the show will end it's run on September 9, 2001. However, there are rumors the show will make the leap from network TV to Oprah's cable channel(OWN).
Oprah will speak to viewers during her show tomorrow. I'm hoping she will continue. What about you?

I'm okay with it. I wrote her off a while back - got tired of her shoving her opinions down everyone's throats. That being said, I do respect what she's been able to accomplish.
Awwww, I'm really going to miss the show if it does go away. I think she is the only daytime show left that really gives you a mix of informative programming and entertainment. She has also focused a lot of programming to gay, lesbian and transgendered issues especially the last few years and I applaud her for that.

Chicago and daytime TV just won't be the same with her gone!
She's a very charitable person and her intentions are good.
Maybe she will change her mind though. A lot of things can happen in a year, right?
