Remembering the dream

On this date 47 years ago Martin Luther King Jr. made his famous "I have a dream" speech.
It's still as powerful and moving today. Our country has come a long way since then but we still have a long way to go.  I still believe in the dream. One day we will have equal rights for ALL people.

That speech always makes me weep.

On another note, I cannot believe Evil Ms. Alaska and Psycho Boy Beck jacked this day for their crap spewing. I bet MLK is rolling in his grave.

Good post. And I hate how Glenn Beck did his "I Have A Scheme" speech in DC today -- and how CNN gave it so much undeserved airtime.

The only speech that ever mattered and ever will matter on this day is MLK's "I Have A Dream."
